It is also immensely easy to be ignored, lost in the tide of applicants or stored in archive.
To be rejected is hard enough when the letter or email arrives. Well, now you have to get used to hearing nothing. Did the individual get the résumé? What did they think of you? Feed back would help refine your qualifications.
